What are the requirements for volunteering?
The most important attribute is a friendly welcoming attitude. Most opportunities are for members 18 and older. There is a link at the top of the main page for youth members ages 14-17. The talking roles in the temple required a current temple recommend.
How do I find the right volunteer opportunity for me?
The main page lists the various volunteer roles as well as an overview of how the roles fit with the open house. For each of the roles there is a button for addition information about the requirements and duties.
What should I wear?
Church attire would be appropriate for roles that directly interact with the visitors. Ties are optional for the parking attendants. Safety, security, and maintenance will provide attire guidance for their volunteers.
Is there a time commitment required?
Yes. Each opportunity has specific hours you will need to be at the temple grounds. Breaks are worked into the schedules. Water is provided.
